Sr Commissions Analyst
Your main responsibilities
The Sr Commissions Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing commission data to ensure accurate and timely compensation for eligible employees. This position requires a high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and an in-depth understanding of compensation structures. In addition to managing and administering the incentive process, this role coordinates the efforts of stakeholders. This role would serve as the primary contact for the third-party sales commission platform (Xactly), the focus would be on ensuring that system meets our needs, holding both the vendor (Xactly) and internal stakeholders accountable for upholding their responsibilities. The incumbent in this role will be primary resource for internal users, training users on how to utilize and navigate the platform.
- Commission Calculation and Processing: Validate incentive calculations and process commission payments for sales teams in accordance with company policies and procedures. Manage and administer the following steps of the commissions process:
- Define and schedule milestones for stakeholders
- Ensure HR files and transaction files are loaded into Xactly
- Run processes and load rollovers from previous quarters
- Incent Download, move validated transactions to Obero
- Communication to Field Organization opening Splits/Approvals
- Scrubbed and Approved Transactions are moved to Incent
- Prepare Payroll and Cost files
- Add Employee Name and Termination Date to payroll file
- Coordinate with HRBPs to review Terminated Employees
- Remove Terminated Employees from Payroll and Cost Files
- Submit final Payroll and Cost Files to payroll for processing
- Data Analysis: Analyze commission data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all reports and calculations
- Reporting: Prepare and distribute detailed commission reports to management and sales teams. Provide insights and recommendations based on the data analyzed.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as legal and regulatory requirements related to commission payments.
- System Management: Maintain and update commission tracking systems and software. Work with vendor and other internal departments to implement system enhancements and resolve issues.
- Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations regarding commission calculations and processes. Audit and continuously improve the process supporting Incentive Compensation.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of commission calculations.
- Training and Support: Train and support sales teams and other stakeholders on commission-related topics. Provide regular training on Xactly and commissions process to new employees and Field Organization. Address inquiries and provide clarification as needed.
- Vendor Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for the vendor supporting Incentive Compensation (Xactly). Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a consistent and reliable process.
- Field Organization Communication: Answer questions about the commissions process and reporting and communicate effectively with the Field Organization regarding any updates or changes.

- Experience: Prior experience in commission analysis or a related field is highly desirable.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration Minimum 3 years experience; SME in sales compensation, commissions process improvement, training and communication
