Job Summary Barrett Paving Materials Inc., Internship program is designed to educate the candidate (current college student) about the different aspects of safety within the aggregate and ready-mix industry. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Main Responsibilities Work closely with the Safety Specialist to understand our safety program and the importance of Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) & Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations. Complete mutually beneficial projects Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity Learning how to work as part of the region team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company Skills Strong knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver's license.
