DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will complete complex clerical work to include creating and maintaining an efficient in-office filing system, navigating lottery software programs and extracting data, and composing various letters, emails, and correspondence. You will also be responsible for gathering sales information from District Lottery Representatives (DLRs), sales plans, and other pertinent sources, to use in the creation of monthly reports and other specialized reports as needed. This professional provides support by reviewing the claim process with customers, assisting them with completing claim form(s), and providing the proper guidance, in addition to distributing claim forms to the appropriate parties. Excellent interpersonal skills are exercised to greet visitors in the office and provide assistance to claimants, retailers, and other members of the public. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, ad hoc, based on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Erie.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
