Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities within the 84 Components manufacturing plant. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on plant machinery, including saws, conveyors, presses, and other production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments on malfunctioning equipment to maintain production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a hazard-free work environment.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance plant productivity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 2:00 am

Perform regularly scheduled maintenance of all equipment/machinery.

Maintain equipment/machinery within tolerance of quality standards.

Train operators on correct operating and maintenance procedures.

Audit daily checks.

Maintain safe work/machine environment

Able to read and write in their primary language.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift 50 pounds.
