The Network Analyst will help monitor, maintain, and optimize our corporate network infrastructure. As part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring that our network operations are seamless, secure, and efficient, supporting our organizational growth and success.
In this role, you will work closely with other IT specialists to design, implement, and manage network systems that meet our business needs. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement, ensuring our network infrastructure is adaptable to the latest advancements in technology. Key Responsibilities:
Network Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of the network to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance. Proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and optimize network efficiency. Network Design & Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams to design, deploy, and upgrade network infrastructure solutions. Analyze network traffic and patterns to ensure the network design scales with business requirements and future growth. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Quickly diagnose and resolve complex network issues, including connectivity problems, slow network speeds, and hardware failures. Provide timely support to end-users and resolve critical network-related incidents. Security Management: Oversee and enforce network security protocols and policies. Implement necessary security measures to protect sensitive data, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system changes, troubleshooting procedures, and incident reports. Regularly provide detailed reports on network performance, issues, and upgrades to management. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the network infrastructure supports business objectives. Offer guidance and technical expertise to help teams make informed decisions about IT investments and technology choices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred. Alternatively, relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent are required. Professional Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a network analyst or a similar role. Experience with configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining corporate networks is essential. Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of network protocols, network security practices, LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and switches. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and management platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios) is a plus. Problem-Solving Ability: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner. A proactive approach to identifying potential problems before they affect network performance. Adaptability & Continuous Learning: Ability to keep up with the latest developments in IT and networking technologies. Eagerness to learn and implement new solutions to improve the network infrastructure. Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical issues clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
