The Procurement Specialist II is a Supply Management team player that will manage a supplier base to ensure procedures and processes are in place so transactions flow smoothly to and from suppliers. Cross functional team work is essential to the position and requires good communication and understanding of internal processes for problem resolution. This position will also assist in procuring products in the most cost effective manner including price.
Your Impact
Work within our ERP software to procure inventory at the most cost effective manner and ensure we have inventory available for our customers
- Serve as the primary contact for Hanger Direct suppliers. Establish strong working relationships with suppliers to promote quick problem resolution and contribute to process improvements that will drive efficiencies for the enterprise
- Maintain product and pricing records which includes supplier price changes, product description changes, part number changes or additions and special setups such as content groups if necessary
- Assist Hanger Clinic with inquiries pertaining to suppliers, product, price or availability issues. This includes any and all communication via email and phone calls
- Liaison for Hanger Clinics and suppliers regarding any enhancements, upgrades or patches to Coupa and any outage or down time needed
- Facilitate problem resolution of invoices. Work with suppliers and internal groups in order to determine root cause and dteps and process to correct
- Participate in projects as requested by Manager. Will be team member to review new products launched by suppliers and assist in tracking requests, communicate & educate suppliers and respond to questions and any issues in a timely manner
- Key team player and contributor to the enterprise objective to consolidate our supplier base. This includes timely and accurate tracking of processes with keen attention to detail to ensure process goes smoothly from all touch points including data base management and communication.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Education or G.E.D. is required
- Minimum 2 years' experience in administrative role or equivalent with 1 of those years being in a supply chain field

- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to think creatively and work productively with others to provide the best solution to meet internal and external customer needs
