Job Description Position Overview The Senior Technical Accountant, SEC and Technical Accounting is a key member of the external financial reporting team and will work closely with the Company's Director, SEC and Technical Accounting, Chief Accounting Officer, and top management team members. The Senior Technical Accountant, SEC and Technical Accounting will be responsible for working with the Director, SEC and Technical Accounting to ensure regulatory compliance with SEC requirements, as well as other newly emerging FASB and regulatory requirements. This position with support the preparation of SEC filings including financial statements and footnote disclosures, MD&A, and accounting policy memos. The role will report into the Director, SEC and technical accounting. We are looking for a candidate with exceptional communication, writing and reporting skills. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a dynamic environment, will bring energy and passion and will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves to tackle challenging assignments. The Senior Technical Accountant, SEC and Technical Accounting will collaborate with and work hand-in-hand with Director, SEC and Technical Accounting, along with the controller, business unit, corporate tax, internal audit and treasury functions.
