Assistant Sustainability Specialist

Responsibilities We are seeking a full-time Junior Sustainability Specialist to join our Sustainability Unit in our New York City office located in Lower Manhattan. NV5's New York City office operates on a four-day work week. Our Sustainability Unit specializes in applying the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines (WEDG), and conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Embodied Carbon Analysis and Planning, Lifecycle Cost Analysis (LCCA), compliance with sustainability regulations, and implementing sustainable and resilient practices for a wide variety of projects. This individual will play a key role in supporting a broad range of projects for both municipal and private sector clients. Responsibilities:
Support the application of the Envision Sustainable Infrastructure Framework, LEED, and WEDG to the planning and design of infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
#LI-JC2 70,000.00 to $78,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
