About the Role:

This role collaborates with various teams such as Clinical Development and Operations, BioMetrics, and Drug Safety/Pharmacovigilance, as well as key stakeholders within the company to facilitate the planning and execution of Clinical Development projects. Responsibilities include tracking and planning work streams, preparing monthly dashboards, assisting with budget reconciliations, and providing operational support for department initiatives. Based on experience, we will consider someone at the Sr. Specialist level. This is an exciting career and due to the high level of collaborations, requires someone to be onsite M-F. Our campus is amazing and our colleagues are too!!

Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to):
  • Manage content development, internal review, and submission processes to ensure compliance with clinical trial registration regulations.

  • Contribute to the Clinical Development Strategy and Operations team by sourcing, implementing, and maintaining innovative technological solutions for improved efficiency.

  • Create and communicate program status updates through monthly dashboards and reporting materials, ensuring accuracy and information collection.

  • Collaborate closely with leadership to support accounting reconciliation efforts and track spending commitments within the department.

  • Assist in department initiatives as required and support leadership in tracking and sharing the status of initiatives across functions.

  • Regularly communicate with leadership on budget tracking and escalate any project issues and risk mitigation strategies in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with supervisor to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness and transparency of communication within Clinical Development to cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Undertake any other duties as assigned in support of the Clinical Development Strategy and Operations team.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or other related field and 2+ years of experience in Pharma/Biotech/Devices industry with some experience supporting Medical Affairs teams in same industry OR

  • Master's degree in related field and some relevant experience

  • Strong ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way and to orchestrate plans to resolve issues and mitigate risks

  • Excellent presentation and highly proficient computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Working knowledge of accounting reconciliation and tracking of spending commitments

  • Knowledge of event planning, working with vendors and securing necessary space for booths/meetings

  • Good knowledge of project based dashboards to communication to stakeholders

  • Familiar with automation tools to present information and data to appropriate audiences

  • Understands Neurocrine's business objectives and developing understanding of Neurocrine's services and customers

  • Has experience in specific functional discipline while working to acquire higher-level knowledge and skills

  • Comfortable with tools and processes that support work conducted by functional area

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong computer skills

  • Good communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Good project management skills

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $88,000.00-$127,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
