This role is responsible for managing and servicing a compliant and profitable commercial loan portfolio for all markets of the Commercial Lending Team, while adhering to lending laws & regulations, and company policies & procedures. The Commercial Lending Portfolio Administrator works directly with all the market lending teams, and helps build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, and external parties within the commercial lending function. This role provides administrative support back -up and assistance to all markets, as needed.
Essential/Primary Job Duties:
* Handle all daily duties with managing portfolio and loan pipeline, including reviewing loan request(s), closing new loan requests, and monitoring existing loan portfolio alongside the Lending Team * Administration of construction loan portfolio, including reviewing construction budgets, inspections, and loan advance requests. * Coordinate new portfolio loan servicing in conjunction with credit and loan operations departments including collection, preparation and review of necessary documents * Primary coordinator for loan processing, closing, and funding functions for CRE and construction loans * Work closely with all market support staff and Director of Loan Administration to provide back up support where necessary * Work closely with Director of Loan Administration to identify and document procedures for the commercial loan administration role * Work closely with Director of Loan Administration to coordinate training for loan administrative staff * Provide onsite administrative coverage when necessary * Compile and process department reports, including compliance reporting, maturing loans, past due loans, and credit/collateral exceptions, loan covenant testing, and monitoring of overall loan quality. * Requires flexibility to travel to different markets, as needed, to provide on-site support and training. * Interface with loan review, regulators and/or auditors as required * Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to remain in a sitting stationary position for extended periods of time * Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds FNBT is an Equal Opportunity Employer Minimum Qualifications and Education Required:
* At least 18 years of age * Must have minimum of 10+ years commercial real estate lending, compliance or underwriting experience * Must have minimum 5+ years working with commercial real estate loan and collateral documentation (including: appraisals, construction budgets, and financial documents). * Must be familiar with laws and ordinances dealing with Commercial Lending and Real Estate (Reg Z, Reg B, HMDA, CRA, and RESPA) * Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills with attention to detail * Strong analytical, problem solving and computer skills with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office * Ability to work in fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines * Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment * Must successfully pass background investigation according to company policy |
