Job Summary/Objective:
The Regional Sales Director is responsible for managing a defined territory or market segment and working closely with manufacturer representatives to achieve sales targets. This role focuses on designing and implementing both short- and long-term sales strategies to drive regional sales volume and market share growth. The Regional Sales Director builds and maintains productive relationships with a network of sales agents and key customers, providing guidance and support to maximize their effectiveness. Additionally, the role involves analyzing sales metrics and market data to identify growth opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with company goals.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a defined territory or market segment, working with assigned manufacturer representatives to achieve sales goals and maximize market potential.
* Design and implement short- and long-term sales strategies aimed at increasing regional sales volume, market share, and overall growth within the assigned territory.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of sales agents and key customers, offering guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness in the field.
* Evaluate and implement new sales techniques to improve regional performance, customer satisfaction, and competitive positioning.
* Analyze sales metrics, market data, and competitive insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize territory performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to align sales strategies with overall company goals and address complex customer needs.
* Monitor territory performance and adjust sales strategies as necessary to ensure that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded.
* Provide regular updates to senior management on territory sales performance, market trends, and key insights to support decision-making.
* Stay informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities to proactively address challenges and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
* Ensure alignment between territory sales efforts and broader company objectives, contributing to overall business success.
