Minimum Qualifications:

-Must be able to work Night Shifts. Hours/Shifts may vary depending on company demand.
-Able to come in on emergency breakdowns with short notice and work extended hours.
-Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
-Must have a "safety first" attitude. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures is required.
-Basic knowledge of plant operation, conveyor system and maintenance preferred.
-Must have good mechanical, troubleshooting skills.
-Must have thorough knowledge of welding materials, welding properties, and various types of metals. ---Must be able to interpret
blueprints.
-Must be able to wire feed welding machines to hard face and fabricate and repair liners.
-Must be able to perform brazing, welding, arc welding, and cutting tasks.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

- Communicate and work closely with supervisor
- Communicate and follow up with all employees around the quarry to ensure all equipment is running properly.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting of automatic roll welder where applicable
- Accurately complete work orders or other welding documentation.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, MSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and welding repairs on fixed machinery and equipment, including crushers, conveyors,
screens, and other quarry equipment.
- Utilize welding skills to repair and fabricate metal components as needed.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and
adherence to safety procedures.
