Position Description QIAGEN is a fast growing biotech company that has embarked on an exciting digital journey to transform its global operations. For this journey we a need a motivated and fast learning intern to support our operations digitalization team. You will be part of a global team with members across Europe and Americas. In this central role you will interact with various departments across different operations sites and help them with the implementation of IT systems and AI solutions. Task Description: - Supporting the introduction of a Manufacturing Execution System as a pilot and subsequent global roll-out - Preparation and follow-up of management meetings for steering the project - Digitization of paper-based workflows as digital workflows in the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - Preparation and analysis of data for the smooth creation of interfaces (e.g. to SAP) - Processing and improving data sets for training AI models - Creation of proof-of-concept connections of production equipment to an Azure Cloud Data Lake Position Requirements - Studying in a relevant filed (Operations Management, Information Technology, Engineering or Science) - Ability to work accurately and conscientiously - Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex tasks and handle them in a structured manner Personal Requirements - Good academic performance - Drive and determination What we offer At the heart of QIAGEN are our people who drive our success.
