THE HIGH LEVEL The Contracts Management Analyst is a key role responsible for managing and providing business insights on all contracts and agreements related to digital health partnerships. This position will ensure that the organization's business needs are effectively incorporated into agreements with partners, OEMs, suppliers, subcontractors, and potential collaborators. The Analyst will work closely with both the Digital Health Portfolio Management team and with internal legal and contract teams to shape and negotiate agreements that align with business objectives while mitigating risks. This role will cover a broad spectrum of agreements, including Business Associate Agreements (BAA), Subcontracts (SubK), Teaming Agreements (TA), Supplier Setup Paperwork, NDAs, and Reseller/Distributor Agreements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of contract negotiations in a digital health environment, experience with supplier and partner relationship management, and the ability to align contractual terms with strategic business goals. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Contract Strategy & Business Alignment
- Act as the primary business representative in contract negotiations, ensuring business needs are clearly reflected in all agreements.
- Collaborate with internal contract teams to review and finalize agreements, ensuring alignment with company strategy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide guidance on best practices for structuring contracts with partners, OEMs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Support Digital Health leadership in developing strategies for contract negotiations and vendor agreements to maximize value and minimize risk.
Vendor & Partner Agreement Management
- Lead the business side review, and execution of BAAs, NDAs, subcontracts, teaming agreements, reseller agreements, and supplier agreements.
- Acts as primary point of contact for all partners regarding moving all agreements quickly through the processes and ensuring partners are satisfied with the process and outcomes.
- Serve as the key liaison between the Digital Health business unit and legal/contracts teams to streamline contract and agreement review and execution.
Risk & Compliance Oversight
- Help ensure all agreements comply with industry regulations, including HIPAA, data privacy laws, and other relevant compliance standards.
- Identify potential risks in contractual terms and work with internal teams to address and mitigate issues proactively.
- Maintain oversight of Digital Health contract performance and compliance, working with internal teams to track obligations and milestones.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally with procurement, finance, legal, and business development teams to optimize agreement structures.
- Act as a business advisor for internal teams, ensuring contract terms align with overall Digital Health team goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, suppliers, and vendors to facilitate effective contract and agreement execution.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree + 2-4 years of experience in contract management, procurement, business development, or vendor management, with at least 3 years in healthcare, digital health, or government contracting environments.
- Strong knowledge of contract and agreement negotiation.
- Knowledge of reseller/distributor agreements is a plus, but equivalent experience with supplier or partner contracts will be considered.
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, data security, and compliance laws.
- Strong business acumen and ability to assess the financial and operational impact of contract terms.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in or with healthcare, MedTech, or digital health industries.
- Familiarity with government contracts, subcontractor agreements, and supplier risk management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to assess vendor and partnership risks.
