Job Description: Position Summary: Under moderate-to-general supervision-completing work independently, in accordance with instructions, policies and procedures, previous training, and accepted practices. Provides therapeutic support within the units and Recovery Center, teaching and modeling healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery, independence, socialization, normalization, and integration within the community; and promoting satisfying, productive, and valued lives. This position is required to understand and follow all patient safety policies and procedures, to participate in required Patient safety training programs, to support and abide by the National Patient Safety Goals as interpreted and applied at this hospital, and to do all that is reasonable to prevent injury to patients, employees, the facility, and the general public. "This position is deemed essential and has been designated for mandatory operations by the Appointing Authority; therefore, the incumbent is not eligible for Adverse Weather Leave."
