About this role:

Boston Scientific is seeking a Program Coordinator for our Electrophysiology (EP) Fellows, Emerging Leaders, and Societal Relations Team. This role focuses on coordinating and managing national educational and training programs both on-site at our Arden Hills Headquarters and at various off-site locations across the US throughout the year. These programs include didactic lectures and hands-on skills training. The Program Coordinator will collaborate with the program manager and director to initiate, develop, and execute meetings and events aligned with the EP Fellows, Emerging Leaders, and Societal Programs strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Leading the development and execution of strategic meetings and events that support initiatives, recommending appropriate messages and tactics.
  • Communicating proactively with all levels of management and stakeholders, championing meeting and event strategies throughout the organization.
  • Producing meetings and events ensuring consistency and collaboration while following established guidelines, processes, and tools. Educating cross-functional teams, providing direction, and establishing solutions where appropriate.
  • Fostering strong relationships with key customers, both internal and external. Participating in project teams outside of Communications and Programs. Serving as a liaison and event resource for initiatives.
  • Partnering with and managing vendors to ensure that initiatives meet objectives. Directing and initiating solutions in support of continuous improvement.
  • Defining, tracking, and maintaining budgets. Ensuring cost-saving measures and spending within allocated amounts. Participating in the development of department and franchise budgets, adhering to corporate priorities.
  • Applying finance principles to the development of department and franchise budgets.
  • Analyzing program impact and metrics for projects and/or launches. Providing recommendations and creating plans for continuous improvement.
  • Maintaining and enhancing knowledge of meeting and event industry trends and best-in-class practices as related to responsibilities. Actively participating on the Meeting and Event Council providing strategic input.



Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience, preferably in the medical device industry, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Appetite for innovation and continuous learning.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with physician customers and sales teams.
  • Ability to work independently, receiving guidance on complex and unprecedented problems.
  • Ability to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic administrative tools.
  • Ability to travel 30% domestically.
  • Experience working with vendors and negotiating contract agreements.



Preferred qualifications:



  • Previous experience supporting systematic training in a field-based/lab-based setting, preferably with CRM/EP and Fellows experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; detail-oriented and methodical.
  • Previous project management experience.
  • Experience with database development and maintenance and/or working with digital applications such as Salesforce, SharePoint, and AI tools to create workflow efficiencies.
  • Experience with CVENT or other event management software.
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
