What Will Be Your Purpose Ensures that all meeting rooms and public areas of the facility are maintained to the highest level of professional appearance and that all meeting requirements are met prior to the meeting start time. Oversees and coordinates the activities of the AV/Attendant staff. What You Will Be Doing
- Oversees all required facilities, including testing, maintenance of audiovisual equipment and systems, sound, video, and lighting systems, room set up, equipment and technical support.
- Directing staff and services, assisting guests and ensuring the event runs smoothly and providing outstanding customer service with clients
- Arrange furniture, audiovisual equipment, and other materials during set up and supervises to ensure compliance with all Conference Center policies.
- AV / Attendant will skillfully run video, audio, and signal testing ensuring all connected systems operate at peak performance.
- Troubleshoot and adjust the AV system as required without showing concern to customers.
- Cleans and maintain equipment and are tasked with reporting damages to their lead.
- Assists with conference room readiness to determine that the rooms are equipped with proper materials (pens, pads, handouts, event packages, etc.).
- Provides prompt and detailed service as scheduled by management or by request.
- Maintains consistent phone and email communication with clients, guests, team members, and support departments.
- Communicates with co-workers and service partners to ensure updated information is shared.
- Provides recommendations to Event Planners regarding appropriate room setups and identifies solutions for unique setup challenges.
- Conducts weekly site inspections of meeting rooms and contacts the necessary department if items require service.
- Maintains inventory of all supplies and notifies Lead when additional supplies are needed.

- This is an onsite position located at our Jacksonville, FL campus
- Occasional evening and late night hours are required
What You Must Have
- 4+ years related work experience.
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with audiovisual equipment, IP network equipment and computer systems.
- Experience working as a Lead or Manager supervising direct reports in the AV field. Experience with Crestron audio visual system
- Experience interfacing with customers and guests on-site to make sure their desires are met, and that equipment is functioning.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted, along with standing, walking, climbing ladders, and navigating tight spaces is a requirement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
General Physical Demands
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
- Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences).
- Occasionally May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions of cold, heat, wet, and humidity.
- May be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists.
