The USUI TIS Communications & Engagement Specialist builds key strategies and plans to support change management and business readiness for the US Utility Integration TIS core technology workstreams in the USUI Business Systems Program. Please Note: This is a temporary fixed term position. What you will do:
Provide specialized change management and engagement strategies and tactics by coordinating, developing and achieving specific targeted deliverables Design, scope, and lead the execution of people-related strategies and practices including:
Projects culture reinforcement and behavior change strategies in pursuit of Projects objectives. Projects leadership change capability and skills development strategies to ensure Projects is well positioned to execute and deliver required results. Advises Projects leadership and executes on best practices in effective workshop design and facilitation (in-person and virtual) and engagement to drive desired outcomes. Ongoing identification and mitigation of risks and barriers associated with the people side of change to support strategic objectives.
Ensure the team's processes are aligned with the Enbridge's business practices as well as USUI Program specific goals and objectives. Establish measurement practices for reporting on effectiveness of OCM work in the USUI Program Work with the USUI core technology workstream leads to plan for the lifecycle of the project for in scope deliverables, capabilities and outcomes including:
Define the change plan of assessing and classifying change impacts (people, process, technology) related to the project. Provide input related to key stakeholders, their goals and expectations, and knowledge levels, including their levels of commitment and ability to influence the change process.
Partner with the BPI Change Leads and other BU/Functional teams to build buy-in, commitment and understanding for desired change. Partner USUI Core Technology Leads to ensure that they are aware of and can provide input to OCM plans and activities. Partner with other USUI Leads to coordinate and mitigate risk related to cross release, cross workstream ownership of people related deployment issues and interdependencies.
Who you are:
Post-secondary degree in business or related discipline and exposure to organizational behavior or psychology. A minimum of six years of related experience. Broad business experience in change management / communications and engagement, including organizational change management principles and methodologies. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills including strong stakeholder and relationship management capabilities. Possess an aptitude for successfully building relationships with team members, internal stakeholders, vendors and service providers. Previous experience IT related projects/programs in a fast-paced environment. PROSCI Change Management, project management, or process management experience desirable, as well as knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking concepts is nice to have. Understanding of Projects operations, service delivery model an asset.
