Position Summary

Bring our games to life by leading the implementation and integration effort that combines art, animation, sound, and math into a finished slot game. Looking for smart, ambitious, and independent software engineers to join our Game Development organization. Associate Software Engineers work on the creation of compelling game experiences for casino products and deliver high quality and timely software for all assigned projects. Employees in this position must demonstrate a high degree of initiative and accountability for the thorough implementation of all tasks assigned. Associate Core Software Engineers report to the Lead Engineer of the studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Create high quality software in a timely manner for casino game products

  • Write well-commented code in accordance with product requirements following Game Development code creation processes. Code is clear and well documented.

  • Work with senior and lead team members to design and implement solutions for assigned games and projects

  • Works with other team members as needed to meet team goals

  • Develop a solid understanding of platform hardware, libraries, development environment, tools, and utilities

  • Understand the production process and its many dependencies

Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Required Experience:

  • 0- 2 years of experience required with a Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in Object Oriented programming

  • Experience with C# and/or C++

  • Development tools including IDEs, debuggers, bug tracking and source control systems

Qualifications
  • Familiarity with working in a Windows programming environment, including Unity and Visual Studio

  • Proficiency in programming language C# / C++

  • Working knowledge/proficiency of Unity or equivalent game engine

  • 2D and 3D graphics programming experience

  • Strong math skills

  • Embedded systems experience

  • Game Development experience is preferred, but not required

  • Experience in UI development

  • Experience in Agile development

  • Windows development

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • C#, C++, Java or equivalent

  • Object Oriented programming

  • Design Patterns

  • Source Control/Configuration Management

  • Bug Tracking Systems

  • Software Development processes

  • Emulation Tools and/or Debuggers

  • Scripting languages - e.g. Python
