Scheduler II- Solar (Remote)

Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler II to join our Solar Group. The candidate should have the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Scheduler II will provide oversight of all planning and scheduling activities in the pre-construction phase of a build and provide technical support and training during the construction phase.

Travel: Minimal up to 5%

Locations: Remote based (Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones preferred), hybrid if located near a physical office location

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support project teams through the preparation, monitoring, and updating of solar schedules; assist site management to formulate action plans to optimize schedules
  • Draft and present CPM schedules, identifying potential risks and opportunities


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Minimum two years construction scheduling experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Experience as a Project Engineer preferred
  • Experience with Asta, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project (Asta highly preferred)
  • Construction operations experience strongly preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of scheduling principles and best practices
  • Proven ability, creativity, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative to seek innovative solutions
  • Results-oriented to ensure delivery of appropriate products and services in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

The base pay range for this role is $85,000 MIN - $114,800 MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.

  • Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days.
