Description
Is an internship passionate about changing the world's energy future intriguing? If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for! Reporting to the Long-Term Asset Management Implementation, you will be working on the replacement of critical control systems used to support the operation of the Advanced Test Reactor. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of experts, including Project Engineers, Control System Engineers, Nuclear System Engineers, Network Engineers, and Simulation Engineers. The work to be performed will involve assisting in the development of engineering design requirements, coordinating with users to understand operational needs, and developing PLC programs and HMI screens to meet the established requirements and needs. This team works a 4x10 schedule and works onsite at the Advance Test Reactor next Idaho Falls Idaho. Start date and duration of internship vary based on project and student availability. You may be eligible for course credit for this internship if approved by your university. Qualifications
