Position Description

The primary purpose of this role is simple: Be your own business owner. As an Account Manager (Inside Sales), you will be responsible for selling QIAGEN's Reproductive Health portfolio to hospitals, clinics and health care systems. This includes managing a sales territory, closing new accounts, upselling, negotiating contracts with healthcare systems and developing a strategic business plan to achieve an assigned sales quota. We are looking for candidates who would be available to start immediately.

What You'll be Doing:

- Build customer relationships, educate and sell our leading reproductive health test to clinicians and hospital staff by phone and email.

- Work within assigned territory to develop a strategic business plan to best meet goals; quarterly forecasting your territory

- Penetrate healthcare systems and negotiate high level contracts with healthcare systems

- Learn how to manage a sales funnel, including: Prospecting, Qualifying Leads, Covering Base Accounts and Closing New Account

- Quarterly travel to regional and national conferences, as well as customer visits (up to 10%)

- Collaborate across your territory with colleagues to close contracts and work overall strategy; Act as an internal liaison with Marketing, Product Management, Technical Services to drive the overall success of the reproductive health business.


Position Requirements

- Bachelor's degree: Preferably in Business, Engineering, Science, or a Related Field

- Agile: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, think/work creatively and independently Engaging: Outstanding verbal skills, especially the ability to establish complex & high-level rapport with medical professionals

- Determined: Can handle making multiple phone calls to meet a quota throughout the day while completing other territory tasks

- Self-motivated: with the ability to work independently while under guidance of manager

- Fearless: Up for the challenge of meeting and exceeding a sales quota

- Passionate: Excited about the QIAGEN portfolio and utilizing it to enhance customer experiences


Personal Requirements

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Excel skills a plus

- Location - Remote position (Can be based anywhere in the US but ideally in Texas)

The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000 - 68,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a commission plan and generous benefits.
