Intern Human Resources Summer 2025 | Multiple Locations

As a member of the Forvis Mazars People (HR) team for the Consulting Region, the HR Intern supports efforts in Talent Development, Talent Operations and Talent Experience and provides unmatched client service to their internal clients within the Consulting Region.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and has the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities while also experiencing times of repetitive, detailed, and routine work. A successful candidate must possess strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with an eagerness to learn about the various HR functions.

How you will contribute:

  • Supporting our performance management cycle by preparing for performance review meetings and ensuring completion of coaching conversations
  • Delivering reports to support leadership requests for information to include in presentations, newsletters, and other analysis
  • Supporting our internal clients with life cycle changes and related items
  • Contribute to the successful integration of a large group of new team members in June
  • Participating in special projects that support the Forvis Mazars People (HR) team

We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel (e.g., formulas, tables, and charts), and Outlook
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication
  • High attention to detail in review of written documents and disciplined approach to editing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and deliver effectively on ad hoc requests
  • Willingness to learn and research
  • Naturally collaborative and motivated by working a team agenda, with the motivation and ability to work independently as required
  • Maintain the highest level of trust by keeping employee personal information confidential
  • Able to have multiple assignments in progress at one time

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, other equivalent majors may be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Offices suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)
  • Ability to come into a Forvis Mazars office (flexibility on working from home some days)
