Description This position involves a great deal of customer service, as well as handling freight, keying inventor transactions, and frequent customer communications. Essential Duties: - Work with customers to coordinate shipments to and from the warehouse to meet key customer delivery requirements. - Generate associated documents for customer shipments including pick sheets, packing lists, and bills of lading. - Receive inbound freight and verify contents. Reconcile product received with packing list information to identify any discrepancies - Create and apply labels to properly identify parts per customer specifications - Communicate with customer and carriers for transporting customer orders and receipts. This includes greeting drivers as they arrive, communicating loading and unloading instructions, and signing necessary documents - Promptly communicate any problems to the customer associated with outbound shipments and inbound receipts, including product availability, damage, inventory discrepancies, and carrier issues. - Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system (WMS) or customer-specific data system and manage the integrity of inventory accuracy. Properly file associated warehouse and shipping documents for future reference. - Effectively communicate with warehouse operations to ensure proper scheduling of activities including inbound and outbound freight, physcial inventories, cycle counts, and special customer requests/projects Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
