We are looking for a Workshop Helper to join our team at our Delanco, New Jersey location.

The primary duties and responsibilities for this role include:

• Carries tools, equipment, materials, and parts to and from storage and working areas
• Deliver and pickup equipment, parts, tools and materials as necessary using company pickup truck
• Use hand tools to tighten and loosen bolts
• Assists in cutting and fitting pipe, angle iron, and other metal
• Cleans equipment using solvent, and wiping rags to prepare surfaces for painting
• Cleans fireside and waterside of boilers using soot vacuum and pressure washer
• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment
• Prepare boilers for painting by wire-wheeling and taping
• Assist in pouring concrete and installing refractory for rear boiler doors
• Uses torch under the supervision of mechanic
• Operate fork lift
• Operate overhead crane
• Performs other routine duties

To Succed you will need:

• High School Diploma
• Some mechanical/industrical experience
• Some experience working with hand tools
• Good command in English and a second language knowledge is a bonus
• High energy levels
• You will be expected to lift up to 50lbs and work in an industrial environment including extreme temperatures with walking, standing, reaching, bending and kneeling
• Great communication skills, high energy levels and a strong results oriented work ethic is required
