Here's what you'd do:

  • This role suits an ambitious graduate student looking for the next step in their career.
  • Support the R&D group in the conceptualization and application of new technologies.
  • Apply analytical methodologies, including mathematical and numerical modeling and simulations, to design, develop, and optimize state-of-the-art mechanical systems.
  • Design electromechanical fixtures to assist test operations and assembly.
  • Test new or existing products in the development cycle to characterize performance and effectively interpret and communicate results.
  • Develop and revise test protocols, reports, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
  • Document the results and present them in meetings.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $40hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (1st Shift).

Length: Temp (7 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in assembly and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in CAD (SolidWorks).
  • Minimum of 3 years experience using analytical and simulation tools, including MATLAB, Simulink, and SimScape.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Statistical analysis tools and methods.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in testing sensors and actuators using Simulink Realtime.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
  • Outstanding academic background with a demonstrated record for high-impact research is necessary.
  • Self-motivated, organized, able to multitask, and comfortable with aggressive deadlines.
