We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Sr. Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounts payable functions to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.

Essential Duties:



  • Prioritize workload effectively based on business requirements to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Resolve invoice-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Strong ability to analyze and identify discrepancies in both two-way and three-way purchase order processes.
  • Assist in processing invoices and managing disbursements.
  • Review and maintain vendor setups to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Respond promptly to requests from both internal and external customers.
  • Support month-end closing activities and assist with accrual reporting.
  • Reconcile vendor accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Address and resolve discrepancies in payments.
  • Manage and resolve aged accounts payable items.
  • Provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Conduct research on stale-dated checks and ACH returns.
  • Process 1099 forms in compliance with regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.


Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or any Business discipline
  • 5 + years of experience in Accounts Payable.
  • 5 + years' experience with Procure to Pay Process


Preferred Requirements :



  • Proficiency in a Financial ERP System, preferably Oracle.
  • Self-motivator
  • Critical thinker
  • Adapt to changing environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor procedures and controls.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the Stevedore industry is preferred.
  • Experience with document imaging processing.
  • Familiarity with Concur expense reporting.
