Overview
Missouri Cancer Associates is a multi-specialty practice including medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology and urology. We have 25 providers that service ten Missouri communities. Our main office is in Columbia. Through state-of-the-art medical technology, highly experienced physicians and nurse practitioners and quality patient care, Missouri Cancer Associates has become the premier Cancer Treatment Center in Mid-Missouri. In 2022, we will celebrate our 40th year of taking care of patients! We are looking for a friendly and hard-working Patient Services Coordinator to join our Contact Center team. Candidates should have an outgoing and friendly demeanor, a positive work ethic, and have a track record of working well with others in a team environment. We prefer applicants who have some customer service experience, but we are willing to train the right person. You must exemplify the values of our company and provide patients with the highest levels of care. Full Time / 40 hours per week (M-F, 7:30-4) Why work for us? Missouri Cancer Associates is affiliated with Urology Associates of Central Missouri and the US Oncology Network! SCOPE: Professionally greets and welcomes patients and their friends/family. Answers, screens, and directs all incoming calls to appropriate personnel relaying messages between patients and clinical staff. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards, and US Oncology's Shared Values Responsibilities
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum three years office experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding required. Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) required.
