POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Solutions, LLC is excited to offer an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Jr Programmer Draftsman professional to join our team and support the groundbreaking mission of the Space Force. Responsibilities include development, maintenance, and use of bespoke facility equipment tracking software. This employee would be in charge of the software development and management. Additionally, this employee would use the software to verify and update current configuration changes with the facility management program located atPeterson Air Force Base, CO.

The Jr. Programmer Draftsman will:

Configuration Management



  • Capturing facility information and updating the information within the facility management program.
  • Assist in auditing ongoing projects, future projects, and installations in Denver and Colorado Springs locations on aquarterly basis.
  • Review hardware architecture changes and capture changes in the database.
  • Remove obsolete equipment from the facility management program, as equipment is upgraded orreplaced.



Update Configuration Management Program



  • Build and edit models using Solid Edge 3-D modeling software
  • Assist in the development of software using Visual Basic programming language.
  • Establish/create a facility baseline, identify and update facility drawings within the facility managementprogram to reflect new or upgraded hardware installations.



CM/ QA




  • Work with the Configuration Management/Quality Assurance (CM/QA) engineer to assist in the monitoring andauditing of all ongoing projects and installs to ensure CM and QA measures are met


Multi-site Coordination



  • Work with geographically separated team members to maintain up-to-date files, databases and documentation.
  • Attend meetings (onsite and virtual) to stay abreast of changes and scheduling needs



Support and Compliance:



  • Evaluate documentation and ongoing projects for compliance with standards
  • Review SF1067forms for active installations
  • Provide written documentation of findings following reviews of onsite reviews.
  • Support annual documentation updates through review cycle and comments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Requirements



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a team and independently.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have experience with 3D modelling software
  • Familiar with application development, preferably using Visual Basic for Applications and the .NET framework
  • Clearance: TS/SCI


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with database management
  • Experience with Air Force technical orders, technical drawings and configuration management.
