We are in search of an ALM Treasury Analyst I or II to join our Treasury department in Spokane, Washington (Headquarters). This full-time position reports to the Treasurer and is responsible for supporting the organization's Treasury function in its daily and monthly operations. The role's primary responsibility is to assist in the Asset/Liability Management (ALM) modeling team in evaluating, analyzing, and reporting interest rate risks through the use of ALM software, as well as other relevant systems and applications.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule and one-time home office stipend after initial training period.

Compensation Information

The base salary range for this position in Spokane, Washington is:

Level I: $58,500 - $88,200; bonus at target is 8% of salary.

Level II: $70,800 - $110,800; bonus at target is 10% of salary.

Job Requirements

  • Support the processing, maintenance, reporting, and analysis of the organization's interest rate risk measures using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) ALM software.
  • Support the development and maintenance of quantitative models and calculations using statistical and mathematical techniques.
  • Work with large datasets to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in funding, hedging, and investment analysis.
  • Develop and update procedures, business continuity plans, policies, and internal control documentation as appropriate.
  • Prepare, monitor, and analyze Treasury reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Treasury's Risk Dashboards in Power BI.
  • Collaborate with teams across Treasury to understand their needs and provide relevant analysis.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, accounting, finance, economics, data analytics, or related field, or equivalent education and experience
  • Generally, requires one to three year's prior work experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, including interest rates, yield curves, and economic factors
  • Knowledge of loan products and financial instruments offered by financial institutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products, specifically Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with pricing and structuring of financial products, including loans, debt, investments, and hedging instruments
  • Experience with ALM modeling using software such as QRM, SAS, Empyrean, or similar
  • Knowledge of economic and market changes that impact financial instruments
  • Significant knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Experience with R, Python, SQL, or similar
  • Knowledge of loan accounting and origination systems
