Location: Los Angeles, CA Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 About the Role: Are you an experienced maintenance professional with strong leadership skills? We're seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all aspects of facility operations at our cold storage warehouse. This role ensures our refrigeration, HVAC, and material handling equipment function at peak efficiency while leading a dedicated maintenance team. Why Join Us? Competitive salary & benefits A leadership role with growth potential Work in a dynamic and essential industry Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Supervise, train, and develop the maintenance team Oversee scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations Ensure team compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations Facility & Equipment Maintenance Manage preventive maintenance programs for refrigeration, HVAC, and MHE (material handling equipment) Troubleshoot and resolve facility issues, including 3-phase electrical systems Coordinate work orders and oversee general repairs Vendor & Budget Oversight Schedule and supervise external contractors Control maintenance expenses and optimize efficiency Serve as the point of contact for renovations, upgrades, and safety audits Safety & Compliance Maintain adherence to EPA and OSHA guidelines Monitor and improve facility safety protocols Ensure all maintenance records are accurate and up to date What You Bring: Experience & Education 5+ years of maintenance leadership experience (warehouse or industrial setting preferred) Strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems High school diploma or equivalent (technical education a plus) Bilingual in Spanish (Required). Skills & Certifications Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and safety regulations Ability to read and interpret technical drawings & manuals Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs. Work in cold storage/freezing conditions Available for on-call emergencies, nights, weekends, and holidays Join Our Team!
