Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Mid-level Program Manager to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Hearing Center of Excellence (HCE) Information Management (IM) branch. The Program Manager will oversee various project activities related to audiology applications and supported audiology medical devices. The HCE IM programs contribute to the HCE mission to optimize operational effectiveness, heighten medical readiness, and enhance quality of life through collaborative leadership and advocacy for hearing and balance health initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution and delivery of high-impact initiatives, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning program objectives with organizational goals.

Hybrid position. Will work one day a week on-site.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create project management details of tasks, duration, and document critical milestones to track Information Management (IM) initiatives.
  • Gather and integrate information, synthesize requirements, and summarize project conclusion to assist in fact-based decisions.
  • Develop and execute communication strategies to effectively provide and document updates.
  • Support leadership on completing tasks directed by HCE leadership and from higher headquarters.
  • Assist in managing the operations and sustainment of the audiology enterprise applications.
  • Enhance the understanding of complex issues and/or provide alternative solutions.
  • Provide support in developing operational activities for IM initiatives.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of several related fields, and recognition as a leader within the assigned functions.
  • Ability to organize and direct work, coordinate efforts with other functions, and direct personnel to achieve objectives.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, intrapersonal and networking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and program management skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience leading teams in healthcare organizations, as well as regional healthcare systems in development of a center of excellence, primarily in the Program Management field
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience of being a senior resource for a specific discipline or function.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain up to a secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in preparing project status reports for pertinent DOD, DHA, and/or pertinent oversight offices.
  • Familiarity with DOD, DHA, and MHS processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of DOD legal agreements and pertinent requirements.

Annual Compensation: $100,000.00-$107,000.00
