Staff Pharmacist - 7on / 7off Shift

As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule: This position will work 80 hours per 2 weeks pay period week on week off Monday through Sunday. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 9:00pm, and Saturday/Sunday from 8:00am to 6:00pm. This position will take on-call following each shift.

Starting Pay: $115,000 - $120,000 annually, (Depending on related work experience).

About the Facility: Hillsdale Hospital is a 97-bed acute care facility, offering med-surg, emergency department, behavioral health, OB, and surgical services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
  • Current Michigan Pharmacist license in good standing
  • Controlled Substance licensure in the state of Michigan
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred
  • Experience as a Pharmacist in aHospital setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
  • Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
  • Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
  • Effective communications skills; verbal and written

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)

  • (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof ofnegativeTB skin test within thelast 12 months

  • (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer provingimmunity

  • Varicella -(2)documented doses or A Blood Titer proving

  • HepB3 Series(or declination)

  • (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th

  • COVID Vaccine-Full
