Professional Services Group is a community-based social services and mental health organization fulfilling our mission of helping individuals and families achieve their greatest potential through dynamic and innovative programming that is responsive to the needs of diverse communities.

The Individual Skill Development Enhancement (ISDE) Worker supports programming at our mental health clinics. As the ISDE Worker, you will provide individual skill development and support to adult clients who are referred to our services through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. ISDE programming provides mentorship and support to clients working through individualized goals to enhance daily life skills. Services provided by our team may include case management, one-on-one skills work, and/or structured activities to build social skills and to provide crisis intervention, social support, and collaborative partnerships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SKILL DEVELOPMENT/ENHANCEMENT WORKER:



  • Support and enhance life skills by assisting in budgeting and household management, employability skills, enhancing technology skills, maintaining abstinence, increasing social connections/building community, and increasing independent living skills.
  • Analyze client histories, strengths, and needs to determine the services needed to meet clients' unique treatment needs.
  • Create and implement individualized goals for each client.
  • Organize and facilitate individual meetings and structured activities that assist in developing pro-social skills and connections.
  • Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for the client in the community and during emergency and crisis situations.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.


LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Local travel may be required to meet clients at home or other community spaces, with mileage reimbursement.

SCHEDULE: Part-time schedule during operational hours of Monday-Friday between 9:00am-6:00pm. Occasional evenings may be required to accommodate clients' needs. Schedule is flexible and hybrid/remote opportunities are available. Opportunity is available to grow into a full-time schedule.

SALARY: Based on level of education completed.

Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, Associate's Degree, or incomplete Bachelor's degree: $16.00 per hour

Candidates with a completed Bachelor's degree or higher: $18.00

REQUIREMENTS:


  • At minimum, must have a high school diploma/GED/equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, or related is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
