We are currently seeking motivated candidates for an Assistant Real Estate Lending Manager position in our Real Estate Lending department in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Position Purpose:

Responsible for assisting the Real Estate Lending Operations Manager in their day to day operations and providing leadership and support to mortgage operations personnel including, but not limited to real estate processing and real estate closing.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

  • Works with the Real Estate Lending Managers and VP of Real Estate Lending to develop weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual production goals that align with the annual Strategic Plan.
  • Assists in the monitoring of processing and closing work queues
  • Assists with the issuance and maintenance of the NMLS system
  • Aids in the workload of real estate lending operations employees as needed.
  • Oversees the training for new processors and closers, and facilitates ongoing training and coaching for existing employees.
  • Works with the training team to develop and implement training materials for new & current employees.
  • Works with the Production Manager and sales team to develop & implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Five years related experience and/or training.
  • Administrative and supervisory experience.
  • Real Estate experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with OpenClose origination system helpful

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills

  • Good project management abilities
  • Solid communication abilities.
  • Able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to use PC and basic business equipment.
