About this role:

As a Portal Specialist, you'll play a vital role in receiving and translating Gartner system invoices into a variety of client external billing portals. In this dynamic client-facing position, you'll have the exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with our Sales, Order Management, and Collections teams, as well as our external portal vendors. Additionally, you'll take charge of managing the US federal portal and lend your expertise in overseeing various Mexican portal clients.

What you'll do:

  • Receive finalized invoices delivered by the Order Management Team to be processed through various Client e-billing systems.
  • Own the full scope of electronic billing for assigned clients to include various administrative or access functions, resulting in accurate e-billing to client and payment from client.
  • Maintain notes in invoice software for all invoices submitted.
  • Audit ledgers for discrepancies or errors
  • Notify Collections with the details of any confirmations, rejection notifications and payment notifications.
  • Work with various Help Desk's to resolve system or portal issues.
  • Manage payment portal vendor relationship to ensure portal maintenance and notification of changes, enhancements, etc.
  • Create purchase requisitions/purchase orders for payments on vendor portals.

What you'll need:

  • US Citizenship required
  • 2-4 years of professional experience with strong technical and systems background
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in both written and verbal Spanish and English is required, and knowledge of Portuguese is considered an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, & Outlook) and invoicing software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • World class customer service skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels and all countries and cultures within the organization
  • Excellent time -management skills ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while retaining patience and meet tight deadlines;
  • Analytical, problem solving and project management skills;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment;
  • Ability to reconcile complex data;

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 41,000 USD - 55,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
