Job Summary
- This role will help to set a vision and strategy for the design and usage of the seat map; serve as a subject matter expert on seating and boarding strategy, and will develop, drive and manage a set of capabilities that support performance in pursuit of that strategy. This role will maintain and execute a strategic playbook throughout the Companywide commercial transformation, ensuring competing business objectives, including revenue maximization, are balanced with product strategy, Customer strategy goals, desired long-term Customer behaviors, and operational / Employee objectives and impacts. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and performance of the utilization of the seat map to meet these objectives. This role will also share responsibility with their Leaders and Team to establish, develop, and refine our internal capabilities to manage the seat map over time.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a thought-leader and subject matter expert to Leadership on the strategic management of the seat map and the usage of seats for business purposes, including revenue maximization, Customer strategy, product strategy, operational considerations, and other factors
- Develop and maintain performance management capabilities strategies to monitor key business KPIs as they relate to the usage of seats to ensure business preparedness as we continue to evolve our seating model and seat products
- Serve as an arranger and decision maker to enact cross-functional changes in response to key seat performance KPIs meeting performance criteria
- Maintain a playbook of short- and long-term products and capabilities needed to address issues that may arise related to seating and boarding optimization
- Partner with Revenue Management to optimize product pricing and implement and manage effective pricing strategies for seating products to maximize revenue and profitability while maintaining competitive positioning
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison and thought-leader to drive cross-functional momentum toward key decisions related to the usage of seats, and ensure critical capabilities and understanding is in place to implement needed change
- Develop and maintain a Customer view through the booking curve related to seating to ensure we are able to support a competitive Customer experience related to seating
- Work closely with Digital, Technology, and external vendors as needed to ensure seat map Customer visualization aligns with product strategies and to drive forward and implement enhancements as needed
- Monitor product performance, track key metrics, and identify areas for improvement

Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
- Expert level experience, expansive and far reaching knowledge in:
- Advanced problem solving in highly technical disciplines
- Developing product strategies around seats or related capacity-constrained inventory) to optimize output, revenue, or other business objectives
- Leading complex cross-functional initiatives and aligning stakeholders at all levels
- Developing strategies, plans, and solutions to address complex or ambiguous problems
- Project management

Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits: Competitive market salary from $128,350 per year to $142,600 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
