Lead DevOps Engineer.

Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Experience 10+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or a similar software engineering role.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role leading a team of DevOps or software engineers.
  • Experience with embedded systems build and development process preferred.
  • Detail Oriented o Must have high attention to detail.
  • Independent thinking and problem solving o be able to work independently.
  • Proactively seek out problems and find solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • A strong foundation in System Engineering and Administration: Linux o Windows
  • Experience with one or more of the following scripting languages: Bash/ PowerShell/ Python
  • Experience with one or more of the following Version Control/Repository Management tools. o Git o GitHub o GitLab
  • Experience with one of the following CICD tools: Jenkins o GitLab CI/CD GitHub Actions Circle-CI
  • Experience with one or more of the following Observability tools: Prometheus/ Graphana/ Datadog/ CloudWatch/ Lens
  • Experience with one or more of the following log management tools: Elastic Stack/ Grafana Loki/ FluentD
  • Experience with one or more of the following Configuration Management tools. o Ansible o Chef o Puppet
  • Experience with one or more of the following Cloud Platforms: GCP/ AWS o Azure

Location: Dearborn - MI US

The annual salary for this position is between $81K - $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
