This position is a call as-needed position that will oversee and prepare the classrooms utilized by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for testing purposes. This position will work with the designated Civil Service Commission (CSC) Exam Proctor(s) and scheduled testers by preparing designated rooms prior to their arrival on weeknights and weekends (mostly Saturday's) as needed.
What You Will Do
1. Attends and oversees all assigned scheduled exams with the Civil Service Commission that is hosted by the Workforce & Professional Education Department. 2. Prepares the reserved/designated rooms prior to the arrival of the Civil Service Commission. Ensure all doors are unlocked & open by coordinating with OCC's security department, clean off testing area desks if needed, turn on all computers, ensure they are working properly, and always set to the home screen for internet access. 3. Assist with basic technology issues and ability to troubleshoot as needed. Ability to multi-task. 4. Collaborates and effectively communicates to provide assistance with general questions that the designated Civil Service Commission's on-site Proctor(s) and/or guests may have. Ability to communicate more complex tester questions to the designated Civil Service Commission's on-site Proctor. 5. Be present in designated area while testing is taking place in case assistance is needed. 6. Log and submit rooms utilized, any site trouble that needs to be further addressed; computer not working; missing a mouse; keyboard issues, to designated OCC Workforce Department personnel. 7. Related duties and projects as assigned.
