Executive Assistant - Legal Industry

Location: New York, NY (On-site, with one day hybrid potential after 90+ days)
Compensation: $80-120kdepending on experience
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

About the Role:

A leading global law firm is seeking an ExecutiveLegal Assistant to provide high-level administrative support to a senior executive in its New York office. This role requires a proactive and highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, exercises discretion, and excels at managing complex schedules, communications, and competingpriorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executive Support: Manage calendar coordination, schedule meetings and travel, and handle inbox management.
  • Administrative Duties: Process expenses, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Gatekeeping & Prioritization: Serve as a primary point of contact, exercising discretion and understanding what and when to escalate.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a team of professional assistants to provide support as needed.
  • Flexibility & Responsiveness: Maintain a strong in-office presence and be available for urgent matters when required.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of legal assistant experience, including 2+ years supporting a senior attorney or partnerin a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in Big Law or a large professional services firm required.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a high level of professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal administrative tools.
