About the role:
As an IT Architect, you'll help design the foundation for how our global fintech devops platforms perform and scale. Your expertise will influence selecting, operating and administering systems and software for our environment that supports vital business processes.

Note: We have a hybrid work environment in our Bellevue, WA office unless the role or business dictates otherwise.

What you will be doing:

  • Defining, building and maintaining devops platform to enable faster, more quality delivery for FIS product lines.
  • Documenting functional product solutions as well as key FIS financial services opportunities.
  • Maintaining a catalogue of reusable functional platform components relevant for applications and product lines.

What you will need:

  • Strong knowledge of Golang
  • Strong background in testing, TDD
  • Strong experience working in continuous integration and delivery processes from dev to prod
  • Experience with event driven architecture and microservices
  • Experience developing and managing containerized applications
  • Self-starter & team player. Should be comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Comfortable working with others to share knowledge and raise the technical ability of their peers
  • Experience working in an agile team, preferably with scaled agile framework
  • Strong grasp/command of the English language

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with Postgres and using automated database migrations
  • Experience with Jenkins
  • Experience with Harness for continuous delivery
  • Experience with CICD best practices

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $136,190.00 - $228,790.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
