UMKC Police Department Job Description
UMKC is hiring for unarmed Security Officers for the Health Sciences and Volker Campuses. These part-time positions will assist the University Police Officers in providing a safe environment and prevention of crime. The Security Officers will patrol the campus buildings and grounds to deter crime (primarily the University libraries) and performing the following duties:

Shifts will vary, some evening, weekend, and/or holiday hours are required. Minimum Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. A valid driver's license is required Anticipated Hiring Range
This is a full-time, benefit-eligible, hourly-paid position at a rate of $18.00 per hour. Shift differential of $0.70 per hour for eligible shifts (see HR-213 Shift Differential for more information) Application Deadline
