Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer Location: 11611 Park Court, Shelby Township, 48315 DESCRIPTION: MC Fastening Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to oversee multiple projects at various stages of projects, from feasibility and concept development through to installation. This will include but not limited to projects around our current and expending product portfolio of hand held and fixture torqueing tools (nut runners) and Servo press-fit systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure project success by continuously monitoring project timelines and quality standards. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
WORKING CONDITIONS: Job operates mainly indoors, in an office setting, handling administrative tasks related to office management, supplies, and equipment. This position will require the supporting activities throughout the United States and Canada with some interactions with suppliers in Japan. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This job requires very frequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, standing, speaking and hearing and frequent kneeling. Repetitive use of the hands, squeezing, keyboarding and crouching. Requires frequent lifting and carrying of 1-10 pounds, recurrent lifting of 11-20 pounds and occasional lifting and carrying of 21-50 or more pounds. Also requires constant pushing and pulling of 1-50 pounds and infrequent pushing and pulling of over 50 pounds with the aid of handcarts or other wheeled devices. Good visual and color acuity are a must to perform this type of job.
