Hiring Wage/Salary Range $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
Professional Experience/ Qualifications

  • Two or more years of relevant experience such as balancing a cash drawer, customer service, and/or email and phone communication.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with a team to identify and implement solutions.
  • A high level of detail is required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of work flow processes and how each step in the process impacts other steps, the end product and the department's goals.
  • Must be willing to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of faculty, staff, and students on a daily basis.
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic accounting knowledge is preferred but can be trained.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated experience with database work is preferred but can be trained.

Education

  • A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
  • An Associate's degree in a related discipline preferred.

Department Statement
Accountabilities
Primarily accountable for accurate disbursement and receipt of cash related to the accounting
office. Additional responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, maintaining
cash management policies, scanning documents, cost distribution responsibilities,
management of vault inventory, maintenance of US Bank Debit cards funds.

As required, may be required to provide backup coverage for other general accounting positions.
