QC-IQ-04_001 for Tier1, QC-IQ-04_002 for Tier2, QC-IQ-04_005 for Tier3, QC-IQ-04_006 for Tier4 & QC-IQ-04_007 for Tier5



PURPOSE OF THE JOB




  • Inspection of part / product / train / installation
  • Support Improvement of Zero Defect Program
  • Reporting of defects & ensure product compliance (check after rework), especially for Special Processes

  • Line Production Manager (When reallocation is done) or Process Industrial Quality Manager / Leader

  • EPU manager (Elementary Production Unit), PME team (Process & Manufacturing Engineering), SC (Supply Chain), SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) & PrXM (Project X Manager)

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES




Accountabilities & Authorities:



  • Perform inspections and ensure product compliance (check after rework) according to Quality Control Plan


  • Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required
  • Support EPU manager for Station to Station Hand Over
  • Perform Workstation Quality Animation with EPU (Elementary Production Unit) manager including simple problem solving (5W)


  • Perform destructive & non-destructive examination



Performance measurements:



  • Inspection method time adherence
  • Self-Inspection effectiveness
  • Proper defect characterization (e.g. Defect catalogue, 5W2H, Acceptance criteria's, ...)
  • Management of rework (Validation included)



MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES



Educational Requirements



Mandatory:



  • Associates degree, technical major preferred
  • Must be able to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment
  • Special Process Qualification minimum at Level 2 according to Quality Academy criteria's



Desirable:



  • Railway experience is a "plus"



Experience



Mandatory:



  • 4+ years quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry including using of digital tools



Desirable:

  • Experience in operational activities, in documentation management & collaboration and team working
