Summary:

In this role, you will participate in the lifecycle of product tools and solutions. You will independently gather requirements, create, maintain, and work to ensure quality assurance across multiple domains to develop high-quality automated analytics products. Seeking a proactive, autonomous professional who thrives on taking initiative with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop medium complexity analytics products and new stories requiring collaboration with others.
  • Gather, analyze, and document user requirements and translate them into user stories.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather requirements and understand current business processes, partnering with other team members.
  • Write SQL or Python code, and create packages for use in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL).
  • Develop, implement, and validate logical and physical models used to build out a data warehouse.
  • Create Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes joining various data sources including Azure Cloud and MS SQL into a common package.
  • Utilize technologies including Automic to create automated job processing packages.
  • Participate in architecture, visualization, and design sessions.
  • Ensure requested solutions are available in the technology stack by understanding visualization options within the technical product being used
  • Generate test plans and conduct testing to verify the solution creates the correct analytics.
  • Conduct investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of product inconsistencies.
  • Participate in team documentation, and results of executed test cases for tracking and release planning.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Degree in Computer Science or Engineering a plus.
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience required. * Experience as an Analytics Engineer, BI Developer, or SQL Developer required.
  • Experience in Microsoft Cloud and On-Prem relational database management systems and ETL frameworks required.
  • Experience with SQL Server development, tables, views, stored procedures, and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) required.
  • Experience with Automic, and other job processing tools preferred.
  • Experience with ChatGPT, and other AI tools preferred.
  • BI technologies including Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, or Power Apps preferred.
  • Healthcare experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Python and API development a plus.
  • Experience with ADF and pipelines a plus.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
