At the Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. The Mission Assurance & Optimization organization is looking for a Director. The individual will manage the MA&O group by leading, directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies. Duties may include: * Provide direction and structure for staff and various organizations within MA&O. * Establishes a strategic, proactive and holistic approach to CPCCo mission delivery. * Demonstrate executive leadership commitment to the corporate vision and core values. * Integrates Task Orders (TOs), prime contract, and End States to align with the 10-year vision. * Executes TO requests for proposals and ensures alignment with the master IDIQ contract. * Interface with the Department of Energy (DOE), other contractors, suppliers, regulators, oversight agencies, and stakeholders. * Aligns End States and operational priorities with diverse interests including DOE initiatives, congressional funding, and stakeholder input. * Motivate and instill safety, quality, and surety of human performance, based on a robust nuclear safety culture. * Direct and achieve the development of short and long-range objectives, policies, financial objectives and budgets, and operating plans for the organization. * Create an engaged and motivated workforce to achieve company objectives and goals with a commitment to quality through the selection, motivation and development of all personnel while maintaining a high level of productivity. * Manage diverse portfolio including contractor assurance, quality assurance program including software quality program, training, and procedures. * Works closely to deliver Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) program elements with the safety organization. * Effective sponsorship of a strong safety work environment in the organizations reporting to this position. * Manages interface team that works in concert with other Hanford contractors to integrate TOs with Hanford missions. * Manages CPCCo strategic partnership projects.
Basic Qualifications
* Director Grade 25 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 years of relevant experience.
* Director Grade 26 - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has a greater scope, complexity, authority, impact, and depth of experience within the areas needed for success. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience within the DOE complex and DOE contractors. * Demonstrated leadership of 100+ employees. * Continuous Improvement impacts to increase operational efficiency. * Aligns organization to achieve goals and objectives. * Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement abilities * Excellence in written and verbal communications * Experience providing communications counsel centered on mission assurance and optimization to senior leaders * Project management skills with ability to handle multiple concurrent initiatives * Strategic thinking with proven ability to translate complex technical topics into clear messages * Experience managing interface arrangements with various contractors * Strong knowledge and demonstration of managing and improving contractor assurances and quality assurance programs * Knowledge of change management communications * Track record of implementing communications best practices
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Grade 25: $ 242,463 - $318,988.
* Grade 26: $ 278,925 - $366,975.

* Relocation Eligibility: Must be located greater than 50 miles from Richland, WA 99352. The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact.
