CLINICAL PROGRAM DIRECTOR (BEHAVIORAL RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CENTER)

Exempt Salary: $77,000 - $120,000/yr dependent on education, certifications and experience

Status: Full-Time w/rotating on-call requirement

Reports to: CEO

Location: 592 West 1350 South, Woods Cross, UT

Your goals and objectives will include:

  • Direct the therapeutic milieu to ensure the resident units are safe and the care being delivered is appropriate and within the parameters of the facility policies and procedures, Resident Handbook and Trauma Informed Care
  • Provide supervision for employees in the department; interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems
  • Directly responsibility for the delivery of care by the Residential Services Director, Shift Supervisors and Behavioral Health technicians; perform daily rounds to ensure staff members are in compliance with organizational policies and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with clinical departments to develop individualized care plans; ensure direct care staff are educated on new directives to ensure that follow-through takes place on each unit
  • Maintains an understanding of relevant HR policies and ensures staff adhere to and are aware of relevant HR policies.
  • Set an example as a leader and representative of the administration team by upholding all policies and procedures, adherence to the Resident Handbook, dress code and modeling appropriate boundaries.

Qualifications

Your qualifications will include:

  • Master's degree in psychology or other similar human/social service field is REQUIRED
  • Current Utah license as CSW, ACMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or CMHC is strongly preferred.
  • Three years of supervisory/management experience, preferably in a behavioral/psychiatric residential facility REQUIRED
  • Requires strong written and oral communication skills and ability to prioritize time and responsibilities.
  • Leadership qualities with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage a resident milieu and staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills when working with residents, staff, families, referral agencies and visitors.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check and drug screen
