This posting will remain open until a successful candidate has been identified Under supervision, positions in this title serve in different capacities. As Pharmacy Technician, assists the pharmacist in the preparation of medications for patient use (oral and parenteral) according to established procedures; assist in the distribution of medications; performs computer order entry, record keeping, and billing functions; maintain inventory levels; Will perform assigned operational duties in a scheduled area and will assist pharmacists in completing medication orders and related distribution duties in the assigned areas. Assists the pharmacy department in the preparation of claims for reimbursement and obtaining authorizations for prescription medications dispensed from the department's outpatient pharmacies according to established procedures; performs assigned operational duties in a scheduled area. This position also has leadership responsibility that involve coordinating work assignments, schedules, coaching and mentoring other staff. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $48,734 - $60,677 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $23.34 - $29.06 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). |
