About This Role
The Program Assistant works with Assistant Directors to serve students of the University and is accountable for assisting with events, programs, and projects related to all aspects of career development and employment services. Project Management: Coordinate post-graduation collection efforts for university-wide reporting. The process includes: emailing students/graduates, searching social media, contacting faculty, and following through other data collection strategies. Enter data and run reports based on the project timeline. Office Operations: Provide constituents with quality customer service when they are requesting information related to the Career Center or university programs/services. Submit and manage college specific presentations in the online system to help with assessing services or trends. Administrative Support: Monitor and accept scheduled student advising appointments through the online scheduling system for career advisors. Assist staff with logistics or other support needed for scheduled meetings and presentations. Coordinate materials for scheduled presentations. About Us The Career Center facilitates the career readiness of all students throughout the K-State community. The Career Center offers an extensive career library, free assessments for exploring majors/careers, job search training, career advising, employer connections, and a staff dedicated to assisting students in the career development process.
